Monday morning came way too soon as we had to head back to the East side! It was sooner than Mommy wanted to go, but we wanted to make it to the Wilson Christmas that got rescheduled for Monday because of the weather. That was fun and again Lily had fun watching all the action! She got taken care of very well by her helpful cousins, especially Angela and Mary!! They thought she was pretty cool! Angela even dove right in when Lily had a blow out and poop up to her neck....no exaggeration! She got her first bath in Grandma Carole's sink too!
We spent the next week just getting our fill of snuggle time!! We watched Pete ref a game in Beresford...it worked out nice because Lily and I got to visit with Linda and Phil. Lily was having withdrawls from her Auntie Linda!! Lily is getting to be quite a talker and giggler!! She thinks she is SO big and loves to stand and sit up. If she isn't sitting up, she will try! Despite Mommys trying to keep her from being a thumb-sucker, she is! She will suck on whatever she can get to her mouth actually! She loves the edges of her blankies! Uh-oh! She also LOVES the TV! What are we going to do when she gets to be a teenager! She finds it no matter where she is in the room! We have started having a lot of "quiet time" around the house with the TV off just so she doesn't watch it!
We rang in the new year at a friend's house...and Lily was long gone by midnight! (Thank goodness!) She was sleeping all night, but just recently started getting up about every 3 hours again! UGH!
On Monday, she started daycare for the first time! I thought I did pretty good only crying until noon! She is at a WONDERFUL place called Bullfrogs and Butterflies. It is an older couple who takes care of 6 babies...4 months (Lily) to 18 months. They are super!! The first day we dropped her off we had pictures waiting for us on our email by the time we got to school! And then got 2 more emails throughout the day. We get a few everyday! I will attach the pictures so you can see how much she loves it. I am sure the action of the other tikes keep her well entertained! She only had to go to daycare for 3 days this week though due to the weather and school being called off Thurs and Friday. (This is a MAJOR RARITY in Sioux Falls!) I was delighted for the extra snuggle time, but I think Lily missed her friends!!
On Saturday Lily turned 4 months old already!! Can you believe it?? It is crazy how fast time goes! Hope you all enjoy the pictures!
