3 months....Thanksgiving, Baptism, Christmas...lots of new updates

So Mommy hasn't been very good about getting this updated because she has been so busy with school.  But since she is snowed in at Aunt Tessa's and has some time to be on the computer, she is going to try catch everyone up....and since she put it in the Christmas letter, she better get on top of it.
We did get ot go back to Grandma and Grandpa T's for Thanksgiving.  We had a nice time although I was a little cranky from all the craziness!  We also got to meet all of the other Wilson cousins that I hadn't met yet when we celebrated Uncle Mike's 50th birthday!  Lots of fun!
The next week Lacey, Kaden and Avery spent the week at my house taking care of me while mommy and daddy were at work.  It was so much fun to have them all to myself.  Kaden loved to feed me and the both played with me all day long!!  We had so much fun!!  Lacey helped Mommy get ready for my baptism that next weekend.
All Mommy's family...including Great-Grandma Amie...came to our house!  Good thing Daddy finished the basement or the party we had after church would have been pretty squishy!  The baptism was good...but I fussed most of the way through church!  We had a good party afterward with lots of good food, friends and family!!
We made our 3rd trip back west over Christmas break.  We left a day early to beat the storm and we got there safe and sound.  We went to church on Christmas eve and then went to bed so Santa would come.  And he did!!!  That is the neatest thing ever!  He gave me 2 dollies and a fun kick and play piano...along with a stocking full of goodies!  On Christmas day, we went "dashing through the snow" to Aunt Tessa's house.  We made our traditional pizzas and had lots of goodies.  I got lots more fun clothes and toys!!! We were going to head back to Grandma and Grandpas but the roads were too icky...so we had a slumber party....all 21 of us...including Great Grandma Amie!!  We are all still here at 5:30 the next day...that is why Mommy finally had time to update this!  But Aunt Tessa wants her computer back so we better wrap it up!  I will tell Mommy to do this more often.  Maybe now that the semester is over, that will be a little easier to do!
Merry Christmas to all!!!  Love, Lily

2 months old!!!

Wow.....Lily  is 2 month old already!  How time flies!!  She had her appointment last Friday and she weighs 12 lb 2 oz and is 22.75 inches long.  She moved from the 25th percentile to the 90th!  (She likes to eat and her cheekers show it!)  The Dr. was overly impressed with her neck strength.  I told him she has been holding her head up since we came home from the hospital.  Her first shots were HORRIBLE!!!  Lily cried her first real hard cry...with real tears!!  Mommy had real tears too!!  Mommy even cried when she got back to class and her students asked her about it.  The kids were pretty cute though, telling me it would be ok.  I even had one of my boys (one of the major stinkers at that) tell me, "Mrs. Wilson, it will be ok.  Our parents all made it through it, so will you."  Pretty compassionate for a 13 year old boy!  Speaking of school...I am back to work as of last Monday!  It is going well...as well as it can be being away from my baby all day.  We are so lucky because we don't have to take her to daycare until Jan.  Pete stayed home with her for the first day, which was so nice for Mommy!!  And Lily and Daddy had a good day of bonding! Mom is here for a week right now. (She was finally able to get here after some complications with my Uncle Fritz's heart surgery.  He is doing much better and is now in the rehab division of the hospital...so I am sure he will be back home before we know it.  That darn stubborn Norwegian blood you know!  We are so glad that she could be there by his side through the toughest times...but are REALLY glad to have her with us for a week now!)  Bob & Carole, Pete's parents, my Aunt Linda and Larissa Luther have all helped out getting through the few days until she got here.  Lacey gets to come for a week after Thanksgiving and then we will hodge podge everyone else's schedule to cover the rest of the time until Christmas break.  We are glad to have the basement done so there is a nice place for our guests to stay when they come to hang with Lily.  :0)  We will be heading back for Thanksgiving and can't wait for everyone to see how much Lily has changed and grown.  Until then...here are some more pictures!

8 weeks

Wow...I can not believe that we are already 8 weeks into little miss Lillian's life!!!  It seems crazy!!  I am back to school next Monday...boo hoo!!!!    I am so not ready...but I am so lucky that I don't have to take her to daycare until January thanks to my mom and Lacey each coming out for a week and other relatives and friends in town helping out.  That will make going back a little easier...if there is such a thing.
We have been enjoying our growing little girl.  She is now up over 10 pounds.  She likes to show us how strong she is by holding her head up all the time...we actually have to be careful that she doesn't jump out of our arms.  She just started smiling this past week...in response to us anyway.  We got lots of sleepy gas smiles before!
We had a fun Halloween.  Poor Lily only had 3 costumes to dress up in!  She made all 3 of them super cute though!!  Hopefully I can still find time to update this after I am back to school!  Wish me luck!!!  And send many prayers that I don't cry all day when I go back!

SOOOO Big...

Hi Daddy...I am so strong!!
